A gorgeous vintage silver-plated stand with swing handle and pressed glass insert. Beautifully engraved silver-plated lid with ball finial. Typically used as a butter or jam dish but has many other uses - grated parmesan, berries, nuts, small chocolates, etc. The glass insert has a lovely scalloped rim and pattern to edge and base. In really good condition - no chips to glass, very minor tarnishing to silver-plate. Height to top of bowl 7cm, diameter 14cm.
