Vintage Rosenthal Studio Line highly collectible porcelain figural group "Courtship" designed by renowned French cartoonist and artist Raymond Peynet (1908-1999). Peynet designed for Rosenthal between 1955 and 1965 and his pieces are among the most collectable. This figurine in high quality white gloss porcelain shows the boy kneeling to the young woman and holding a heart towards her. Hand-painted in lovely soft pastel colours with stunning detail. In fantastic condition. Stamped to base with printed and impressed marks. Height approx. 24cm.
