Quite rare, stunning and whimsical porcelain covered box designed by French illustrator Raymond Peynet for Rosenthal Studio Line Germany circa 1960's. Beautifully shaped oval dresser box in glossy white porcelain with a soft pastel coloured illustration of a demure young lady to the front and reveals, once opened, to a lady parting her skirt with soliders beneath. Ooh la la!!!!  Artist signature inside box, base is fully hallmarked with green Rosenthal GERMANY along with an impressed number and artist’s numbers. In fantastic condition - no chips, no scratches etc. Width 15cm, height 5.5cm approx..
