A gorgeous James Dixon & Sons silver plate and pressed glass serving dish made in England. The holder has a delicate shaped handle and an ornate base with scalloped edging. The pressed glass bowl is also ornate with scalloped edges and starburst to base.  Perfect for berries, condiments, dips, jam, etc. The silver plated stand is clearly marked with the James Dixon & Sons maker's mark of Sheffield England, and a model number. It is also engraved A.Saunders Sydney, Made in England. In great condition - tarnishing to silver plate commensurate with age. Height 15cm, diameter approx 16cm.
