Made in France, this is a stunning Baccarat faceted paperweight sulphide cameo of Queen Elizabeth II from the 'Royal Cameos in Crystal' series by John Pinches - circa 1977. Beautiful amber/orange base with pinwheel design on underside and a thumb print pattern to clear glass top. A really lovely piece, heavy to hold and in fantastic condition - no chips, no scratches. Makers mark etched to base. Height approx 5cm, diameter to base 7.5cm.
* So hard to photograph well.. The colour really absorbs its background. The truest colour match would be the first photo and the third which shows the underside. I have also included two photos with a black background to show how the colour 'pops' and takes on its surroundings.
