An oversized Villeroy & Boch porcelain christmas platter from the 'Toy's Fantasy' series. Richly decorated in greens and reds with a wonderful image of Santa with toys by the fireplace and other Xmas motifs. Known as a pastry serving plate but due to its size it has a multitude of uses. Now discontinued. Makers mark to base. Unsure if ever used - original shop sticker still on back. In fantastic condition. Diameter to plate 41.5cm.
