A fantastic, very heavy, mid century swiss made pewter drinking set feauturing a serving tray, lidded pitcher and six cups. The lidded pitcher/large tankard features a double acorn finial with the words Liberte et Patrie ("Freedom and Fatherland") impressed to lid. Height to acorn 22.5cm. The six cups/shot glasses, that fit perfectly one on top of the other, are 8cm high and the tray's diameter is 30cm. Makers mark impressed to base of all pieces - SIGG FRAUENFELD FEINZINN ETAIN FIN (fine pewter). Beautiful decorative piece or for usage. In great condition for age - the tray has some "fade marks" where each item sits and the underside has scratching (shown in 2nd last photo) otherwise there are very few minor scuff marks. One cup has a very small dent to rim (shown in last photo). Overall for age, it is in fantastic condition. A lovely piece....
