This is a stunning and very collectable Rosenthal figurine of an Angel fish designed by Fritz Heidenreich (1895-1966). Made of white porcelain with exquisite detail - the reeds, the fins on the fish etc.. In fantastic condition considering its fragility and age - no cracks, no chips, no crazing. Heidenreich signature is impressed on the top of the base. Makers mark to underside of base "Rosenthal Germany Kunstabteilung, Selb" and #1637. Makers mark dates it circa 1940's. Height 19.5cm.
