Made in Hungary by Herend this is a stunning handmade pure white porcelain lidded jar. Handpainted, accented with 24k gold and adorned with a raised apricot coloured rose finial to lid. Design is 'Printemps' Blue Border. Printemps (spring) is a gorgeous floral design and is elegantly adapted here with the addition of intricate scalloped blue scales. Every fish scale is handpainted and edged in gold. Makers mark to base and numbered. In near perfect condition - scuff marks to base only. Height approx. 16cm.
