Two-piece Christofle silver plated caviar serving set in the Vertigo pattern. Has an outer silver plate presentation dish, which you fill with ice to keep caviar chilled, and an inner crystal bowl which sits inside a frame and holds the caviar. The lid features the famous Vertigo motif, an asymmetrical, thick ring which sits slightly askew. Designed by Andrée Putman and made in France. In great condition - very minor tarnishing, some scratching to base. Makers mark to base. Diameter of outer bowl 14cm, height 5cm. Diameter of glass bowl 8cm, height to top of ring approx 7cm.

** Bowl can also be used separately for other foods as can the glass container with silverplated lid.  Very versatile.
