Stunning handmade sculpture "Icon Face" by internationally acclaimed Swedish glass artist Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda. Sits in an adjustable heavy iron stand and is a limited edition of 500. The face is a recurring and signature theme for Vallien and in his words "These heads are blessed or cursed, depending on how you choose to see them". The head is incredibly heavy and solid glass with a carved out section to back. Absolutely magnificent detail. Engraved signature of artist to front and engraved "7173039 Kosta Boda Lim.Ed. 500" to side (towards base). Original sticker attached and in original box. In fantastic condition - no chips, etc but there is some rusting to stand (visible in photos). Height 19cm, width 15cm, depth 5.5cm.
