Antique WALKER & HALL Sheffield England Art Nouveau Silver Plate Teapot
A beautiful and elegant antique Walker & Hall silver-plated footed teapot. Elaborately etched blossom and leaf pattern with floral finial. The base is stamped Walker and Hall Sheffield England, the number P382B and the patent handle stamp number 3245. (At the time this was an innovative handle - hollow with pierced holes to reduce the transfer of heat from a hot pot to the handle). From the Art Nouveau period it is dated 1890's to early 20th century. In ok condition - notable and noticeable areas of loss and wear to the silver plate (visible in all photos). There is also a piece missing from the base of the finial (as shown in final photo). All in all this is a stunning piece even with the losses. Quite unique and hard to find. Height approx 16cm to top of finial.
