Antique moulded glass jar with Brittania metal lid. Lovely finial to top. The thick moulded glass has a gorgeous pattern and is a good weight. Overall in good condition. The metal lid is worn and has losses but sits atop the glass nicely. Losses and condition shown in all photos. The glass jar is in great condition - no chips but a few scratches commensurate with age and use. Height to top of finial 17cm, diameter 18.5cm.
* Brittania metal is a trade description for a pewter alloy favoured for its silvery appearance. Typically 92% tin,  6% antimony and 2% copper.
